Komeda. Stories crafted with sounds

Honoured that I became a curator of the project Komeda. Stories crafted with sounds – a series of musical and visual events in memorial of a Krzysztof Komeda.

The starting point of the project is life and work of Krzysztof Komeda, a Polish composer and jazz pianist (1931-1969), whose original style represents  the combination of classical music, jazz and Slavic lyricism. Polish composer and double bass player Michał Jaros arranged selected compositions of Komeda and created new pieces inspired by his life.
Komeda. Stories crafted with sound is also a creative combination of music and visual arts displayed during concerts created by the Polish artist, Piotr Wieckowski.
